I woke up this morning feeling full, very full. How did you fare?
I did eat Mashed potatoes, macaroni and some other things slathered in gravy.
I had a cheat meal.
I refuse to feel down about it and will attack my workout today to make up for it. That’s all I can do.
I will report back later after I jump on the scale to see how this really affected me.
Please post your Holiday bloat stories!

Hello Mike, I am new to this Blog thing but I am happy I found you! I also am on a weight loss adventure for the second time. I will be following you as we both seem to have familiar weight goals in mind. I started at 323 in October and now down to 299! It has been a struggle starting during the Hoildays. I too fell off track the last day or so with a “cheat meal” but as of today it is back to the gym and regular workouts! Again thank you for you inspiration! and look forward to reading your updates..
Hey Colt, Thanks for posting. Wow, you are nearly at 25lbs lost – thats great! Congrats! Please keep me updated on your status. We are pretty much the same weight now, so we can certainly egg eachother on! How tall are you? How old are you? Was 323 your highest weight ever?
Well Mike I am 41 and 5′ 10″, My heaviest was about 330 and that was about 3 years ago. That is what got me off my A$$! I got myself to about 270 in 7 months and as you have stated”Life Happens”. I hit a bit of a wall and not being educated about dieting and nutrition it got the best of me. I became discouraged that I was not losing weight even though I was cutting back and exercising. I now relize that this is a lifestyle change! and something I must do for the rest of my life. I need to do this if I want to enjoy my future Life with my wife and kids! So with that I have educated myself and aproaching this in a different way now.
